ROSEMARY ANNE ROSS (nee DAVIES) September 30, 1950 - October 11, 2007 It is with profound sadness we announce that Rosemary died peacefully at home, surrounded by love, after a courageous and lengthy battle with cancer. Rosemary was predeceased by her father Frank Davies and mother Janet Davies. Rosemary will be missed and lovingly remembered by her husband of 23 years Douglas Ross, sisters-in-law, Shirley (Leonard) Wolanski, Marilyn Crone, aunts, Grace Ade and Sheila Riddle, cousins in Winnipeg and BC. Also her beloved pets, Zoom and Utah, Angie and ChaCha. Rosemary was raised on a small farm north of Toronto. She received her BA from the U of Toronto, prior to joining Air Canada in 1974 where she enjoyed a wonderful 30 year career. In retirement she continued to travel the world and enjoyed many hobbies with Doug and their many friends. These included gardening, bird watching, reading, fishing and drag racing. The family would like to thank the amazing caregivers, Doctors Louden, Lipschitz and Matsubara, Bunty Anderson and Anne Plett. Thanks to her Air Canada family for their generosity and kindness and all her special friends for their caring and thoughts. Donations can be made in her memory to The Winnipeg Humane Society, Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation or Manitoba Artists in Healthcare at 120 St. Pierre St., Winnipeg, MB R3V 1J8 A celebration of Rosemary's life will be held from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. at St. Boniface Golf Club, 100 Youville St. on Thursday, October 18.
